Ustadha Sarah Rahman is currently pursuing a Masters degree in clinical mental health counseling with an emphasis in marriage and family therapy at California State University, Fullerton. She has worked with children, adolescents, and families. Sarah has a dual bachelors in Gender Studies from UCLA and Islamic Studies from the IOK Seminary. Her interests include chaplaincy, working with youth, and research where she can intertwine mental health in both the Muslim and South Asian populations. Sarah is currently pursuing a MA in Islamic Law and Tradition at the IOK Seminary and has co-led our Positive and Practical Parenting efforts alongside our Weekend School leadership.
