Shaykha Alia Dada was born and raised in Southern California. She graduated from Cal Poly Pomona with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and a Minor in the Spanish Language. Shortly after, she moved to Cairo, Egypt. After privately studying Arabic, she went on to obtain her degree in Islamic Law (Shariah) from the Al-Azhar University. Currently, she is living in the Inland Empire with her husband and two kids. In her spare time, she teaches private weekly Islamic classes. After having kids, she started her journey in Islamic literacy. Bedtime Sunnahs is the first of many books she hopes will inspire caregivers to water the seed of faith in the hearts of young Muslims.
